The Brazos Way Network (TBWN) is a neutral community coordination and partnership organization that strengthens connections between individuals, families, and trusted community partners throughout the Brazos Valley.

We believe stronger partnerships create stronger communities.

Rather than providing direct services ourselves, we create the systems, relationships, and tools that help people find the right support while helping community organizations work together more effectively.

Our work focuses on two strategic priorities:

Community Coordination

• Connecting individuals and families with trusted community resources.

• Improving navigation across community services.

• Supporting coordinated referrals and reducing unnecessary duplication.

Community Partnership Network

• Building stronger community partners through meaningful relationships.

• Providing opportunities for collaboration, shared learning, trusted resources, and peer support.

• Strengthening the community support system so organizations can better serve those who need them most.

Communities are strongest when organizations work together.

Yet community support systems are often fragmented. Individuals and families may struggle to find the right help, repeat the same information to multiple organizations, or experience delays as they navigate disconnected systems.

At the same time, community partners work tirelessly within their own missions, funding requirements, and capacity. While each organization makes an important impact, opportunities for greater collaboration, shared knowledge, and coordinated referrals are often limited.

The Brazos Way Network exists to strengthen the community support system by improving coordination, increasing visibility of available resources, reducing unnecessary duplication, and fostering meaningful collaboration among community partners.

Our role is to build the connections, relationships, and collaborative infrastructure that help people access the right support while empowering organizations to work together more effectively.

What We Don't Do

To maintain neutrality and respect each organization's expertise:

• We do not provide direct services.

• We do not determine eligibility for assistance.

• We do not override partner policies or procedures.

• We do not compete with community partners for service ownership.

• We facilitate collaboration, strengthen partnerships, and support coordinated community solutions.

After years of working within community systems and seeing both the strengths and the gaps, it became clear that what was missing was not passion, funding, or dedication — it was structured coordination.

TBWN was designed to be that bridge.
